EGR valve

99 3.8 LTZ.
Was cleaning EGR valve, noticed the the pintle was loose. Is it suppose to be loose or should it be tightened down???

No way to tighten it, but some play is normal, you will know if there is a problem, it would set a code or stall at idle if there is a problem.
