Thinkin of getting an SRT4.....

As the title says, i want to get an SRT4......you guys that have them, do you like them?? They're a nice looking car, they perform well and are a great deal for the price....but what do you SRT owners think of them after owning them for a while??

I don't have one, but anyone and everyone I know absolutely loves their car. TEXSRT will give you some more info, I am sure!

I personally don't want one, just the engine out of one and drop into my first gen!

i love my srt! i would buy one again for sure. its loud, agressive, and the ride is stiff. but each and every car i have ever owned has ended up that way. i cant drive a stock car! my car will run 12's on street tires, and will pitch turn for turn with evo's no problem! its fun beating them on the autocross track. its definatly an underdog car, and thats what makes it so awesome!

Well i have a couple friends that have them and i kinda fell in love w/ the car.......i really like the exhaust note!! Right now i drive a 99 Acura Integra GS-R, but thats not fast enough anymore.....

I was lookin at a WRX, but those things are spendy!! I don't get how SRT's can be soooo cheap and still be a good car! Dodge has a winner with that thing!

One other thing, i heard that Dodge is getting rid of the SRT4.....is that true??

Yes, this is the last year for the neon altogether. It is being replaced by the Caliber.

NO...It is just replacing the neon. It's funny because even Dodge says the SRT is not a neon

There is a SRT Caliber coming out fall of '06 or early '07.
It will use the 2.4l "world engine". I have seen some information reagarding HP. Some have said that the new SRT will have about 250hp, others have said that 315hp is a possibility.

It looks hideous though...kinda like the toyota matrix and a pontiac vibe! And get this, they say it isn't a hatchback

I've spent some time in one and yes, they're a lot of fun and a way to go fast without having to spend too much money. You give up some sophistication chassiswise and the interior is basic economy car, but we're talking bang for the buck. Get a lot of opinions here. I like 'em, and the lack of a muffler is cool.
