In-Home Mods?
Does anyone know of easy ways to crank more power out of a 98' Taurus (SOHC V-6, I think its SOHC) without spending any $$$? A friend of mine has one and he pointed out a bunch of stuff that could be taken off no sweat and give a little more performance. Sadly he got shipped to Kuwait before we could pull these parts out. So if anyone knows anything about this, that would be sweet.

Re: In-Home Mods?
the non-DOHC V6 in the taurus is OHV pushrod, not SOHC. The only real thing you can do is take out the intake silencer, which won't really give you much power, but will help throttle response.

Synthetic fluids will help a little.

Re: In-Home Mods?
its a mess of tubes inside the fender well, the best way to remove it is to remove the fender liner and disconnect it.
