I have a 2005 C-6 and the radio is Horrible. Crackles bad while driving. I live near Chicago and have several cars, all which get perfect reception except for the corvette. The CD player is really nice but the radio is worthless. I have 3 friends with the same car, same problem. Nobody wants to take it in for a exploritory diesection. Anyone know of a fix?

Re: 2005 C-6 RADIO bad Reception
OK here is the good news. GM has a CD to download and re-program the radio. Easy to do, and now it works great! I hope this helps someone else like it did mine.

I get the same problem from time to time. When you say download a CD is that off the internet or is the CD obtained from the dealership? and no, the back window is not tinted.

Re: 2005 C-6 RADIO bad Reception
ok, well at least we can rule that out. The antenna is integrated with the rear window defroster on the glass itself, and that metallic, or mirror tint causes problems with reception.
