this was fun, id never thought i would try the same car at some racing, mine is a sohc and it picks up descent, not the fastest but its faster than some of the stock imports, anyway this was a quick race, me and my buddy tim decided it would be fun just to see which would win, his is a auto, mine is a auto, i live in hagerstown maryland so i know a perfect spot to toy around with him, we decided to take the cars onto dual highway and see what would happen, we drove side by side until we hit a red light, and we waited until it turned green, and we launched, i was surpised that i stayed ahead of him though just a little bit off the launch, it was like i had more torque than he had to launch, but the acceleration was damn near the same, but after that race i decided i need something, more power!, i looked up a turbo kit on ebay and i will race him again when i get the kit, this time it will be for money. i guess i have taken more care of my car than he has of his, i was proud though.

buy an srt-4. a couple of my friends with srt-4s live in hagerstown. I live down in Baltimore, though.

yes I would have to agree if you want to boost just buy a srt......Im lovin mine......but if you dont have that kind of budget yet just do a simple manual swap with some bolt ons and weight reduction.......you will suprise alot of people out there......take it from a guy thats been there and done that....lol

I'd have to agree. If he had the 2.0L I'd say boost it, but since you don't I would consider a different project car.

i'd like to make a sleeper, if you pull up to someone in a srt-4, they know it is fast, i want to take them by surprise, they do have a turbo for the 2.0l though, i just put a new igntion on it today and what a difference, any thoughts about a really good upgrade

listen dude if you want to be a sleeper and keep your set up now without doing anything dramatic and still not break into your life savings go nitrous 50-75 shot should be ok on your 2.0 auto.....
