Heater

In the mornings, my heater isn't blowing as hot as it should. More cool air then anything. In the evenings, it seems it blows hotter. Could this be the thermostat getting stuck or do i need a heater core or both?

Are you seeing a difference in the temperature gauge readings as well?

I just had a friend with the same problem. His heater core had crud in it, so a mechanic flushed it and then back flushed the entire thing and all the crap came loose, his heater works fine now. A new thermostat wouldn't hurt anything, but I would bet there's a clog somewhere.
