Hello everyone. Yesterday I left dome light on = dead battery I got one slow crank then nothing , jumping did not help. The battery was really old so I went ahead and put a new battery in it . I now have lights radio chimes etc everything except starter //// no clicks or or anything!@!! any ideas ???? thank you in advance! 1994 grnd cherokee 4.0
add; checked the relays fuses, jumpered starter and it spun!
also; when you turn the key chime double its ringing speed. Any help would be aprieciated, this tranportation for a family of five and the longer it is down the harder it is to get 3 kids around!

Thanks I did no action , I can start it by turning on the ignition and crawling under the jeep and crossing poles on the soleniod.

I had to pull the fuses then reset the alarm. So that it would work. Good luck.

hummm, if putting it in NEUTRAL still did not do the trick, the I would suspect a bad Ignition Switch.

I have the same problem on my '98. Did you ever solve your problem? If so, what did you do?

Any time your battery is disconected it will reset the alarm. Do you have your remote ? Have you tried it ? I have allso read that unlocking the doors with the key is suppose to disarm the alarm, but I couldn't get it to work for me.
