Oh By the way they are VOLKS GT-C if anyone else is curious. they weight around 18-20 lbs made of forged aluminum. They cost from $2000 - $3000 (depends on who you know )

Re: New Rims (Pics with them on my car :) )

They are in Diamond Black. basicully black with silver flakes (gives it a hint of grey)
they are VOLKS GT-C D.Black
they weigh around 18 pounds a peice (the stock rims are like 40-50 pounds a peice) and are made of forged aluminum. these are the best of the best. if your going to buy rims save up you money and buy some VOLKS or BBS, they are well worth it, the horse power gain alone is well worth it (eliminates a lot of rotating mass) plus its VERY good looking (There is no duplicating these, and rarely see VOLKS because of their price). Its better to save and get the best, than geting cheap rims faster and paying for it in the long run.
But thanks guys for all the complements.

yes, but looking from your mods alone, you have much more money than I... I shall change my signature to inlcude my car's mods... but for now a/b all I got is custom exhaust, a lightweight flywheel, and a stage 1 Exedy clutch...

Re: New Rims (Pics with them on my car :) )

true that... but what other lightweight rims are out there... I don't wanna go soo expensive and be screwed if I hit a curb (never have, but there's always a possibility)... and I'd hate it if they were to get stolen (never had rims stolen, just my system...but car was broken down on shoulder)

Re: New Rims (Pics with them on my car :) )

Well First each set of Volks wheels come with its own Unique key so the possibility of them being stolen is very slim... what they would have to do is bust into your car and find the key and use it... but if they where that smart they would just steel the complete car. and for Biffing a curb... like i said they are made out of forged aluminum, you would have to be going pretty fast the harm these rims... a little 5mph rub with not bend these rims, if at all sratch them.

but for light weight rims... they are very hard to find. most of the brands are out for looks not performance... the only brands that make light weight rims that I know of is VOLK and BBS. But BBS is a little higher in price.

I know most people tend to go with Enkies cause they look good, but they are some of the poorest quality rims... first they are really heavy. and second they are not made of any forged metal... I have had 3 freinds that had problems with these rims, in every case the rim cracked completly in half... one hit a pot hole going 40. another biff a cruve going 20, and another going 90 and had a flat (not to mension it took his life).

Re: New Rims (Pics with them on my car :) )

speaking of Enkei's, those are the stock rims on my Stealth... take the stock rim off and look on the back side of them... they were made by Enkei... have the little symbol, name, and all... that's cool... I'll be looking around... I did at one time find some lightweight rims, but for the life of me... can't member who made them... I almost had a set of Arospeed Riot8's though... silver and bad ass
