Angry Celica My Be-yotch!

Here's my rant. Bought a 6th gen about 6 months ago. "just" US$4500. Red hot sex shiny looks on 4 wheels. I thought "SEGA RALLY/ WRC" in an instant, Imma kill daily "asshole ricers" etc, (as claimed much to many in this forum), Imma go to malibu canyons and take corners like I have a porsche and kill Beverly Hills BMW annoying owners. To the reality however, I actually got an automatic ST, "THE" 7-afe 105 HP or is it 110..doesnt matter. YES, I bought some crappy ass resistor, K&N cone filter, changed exhaust muffler to make it sound "less quiet", nonetheless, my 0-60 now became 11 seconds flat! from...11 seconds stock. All that circa $200. Invested also in 17 inches alloy wheels 40 kumho ecsta, plus KYB gas shocks and intrax springs...circa $ 1000 in total. Heres my kill list...sentra, some civics, trucks...heres where I got killed; preludes, wrx, evos, some civics, a Z4, and about everything else. I've gotten $ 250 worth of tickets for speeding and moving violation, (driving school isnt included), and a *HIT* by this ass trucker w/ serious attitude problem from outta state!!! (F**K those who says Californians cant drive!!! I NEVER got hit by other Californians!!!). More of the ironic, the speed of collison is less than 10 mph....lucky, but not a collision I can brag about. Anyway, here is my DILLEMA....I gotta BENT FRONT axel and lord knows what elsedown there, and how much itll cost to fix... I still love 6th gen look...its the best...but perfomance-wise, USDM 6th-gen aint sh!t to the previous gen. SHOULD I FIX MY ride de passion??? or get a new celica altogether? an sgte swap OR a turbo-intercooler combo add ons (7-afTe) cost too much like a new car... I am eyeing 7 gen GT-s..w/ 180 HP/145 torque... maybe a better deal in the future if I am looking to make it into 2zz-gTe.... I've dreamed of importing JDM 6th gen GT4....I wonder how it feels like driving one...is it like driving my st w/ wrx engine??? I know some of you OWN the beast here in the states...how did you do it???

wow...I think you have to cut down on the caffeine, dude.
First off, let me give you some advice. "Imma" is not a word. An apostrophe is your friend. School: its not just something to drop out of, anymore.
Now on to the car stuff.
-The truck driver was probably a bit better at this whole "driving" thing than you, and you're most likely lucky that you didn't kill yourself.
-Who buys a celica, puts on a bunch of cosmetic mods and then thinks that they are driving a farrari? no need to answer that one
-Fart Cannons -ie: your big, stupid muffler hole, is the first sign of retardation. You should see about getting fit with one of those special helmets.
-And lastly, since I'm sure you haven't understood anything I've typed, go out..have fun....drive like You the Man!
Don't take shit from nobody! show those honda guys that you aint' gonna be nobodys bitch.

Re: Celica My Be-yotch!

hahahahahahahaa....lol
in any case, btw why do u say its weak compared to us 5th geners? ur st is faster than any of the previous generations except the 4th and 5th gen all tracs...

the real debatable question is how much is it going to cost to fix, and how much are u willing to spend on a swap

Re: Celica My Be-yotch!

how does he have all cosmetic mods? rims, shocks, and springs are not cosmetic mods(rims a little bit) but they are handling mods. but seriously a resistor chip those are horse crap you will get no power out of them. the k and n filter gave you 5hp tops. and the muffler will give you maybe one hp. and for gods sake get a nice sounding muffler not a damn fart can. ive got nothing against just putting on an aftermarket muffler, i have one, but make it a nice sounding one. and as far as running a 11 sec o-60 sounds like theres somethin wrong with your engine. you should be running about low 9 sec. 0-60. still not fast but you bought an auto st, what do you expect? if your looking for performance buy a gt 5 speed and do more mods tan a filter and fart can before you come ranting about your slow car. but haey atleast ypour car handles good.

Re: Celica My Be-yotch!

my handling IS very good. Never before I was so confident taking corners with some speed (thanks kyb, thanks intrax). About the rants...you know, Iv'e always worshipped my car, but honestly, once in a while I got to let it rip. Plus this is the place where I can actually get "real" feedback. BTW, who didnt put on cosmetic things the very first thing someone got a sport compact??? (unless its the second or 3rd sport .... w/ respect to more experience being duped). In any case, I am still amazed by my "least modified" st's capabillity to take on most hondas anyway (except preludes w/ those damn 4 wheel steering system!). It is fast enough...I never drive a 5th gen yet, though I saw one very sweet black all-trac recently in west LA area.......btw, cost of fix is circa $1500-$2000. I already dropped it in an authorized shop anyway....I still love the car....saw an ad in a JDM booklet for a shop around Harbor City selling a 3SGTE for $1000...

Re: Celica My Be-yotch!

heh... I guess that is kinda true in a way, first thing I did was replace my broken yellow side markers with red ones =P but that was after I replaced a bunch of maintenance stuff on my car.

Re: Celica My Be-yotch!

Authorized body shop gave me detailed estimate to fix my cosmetics...$2000. They havent even looked on the axles yet....$2000 worth of only cosmetics...ONE OEM fender and ONE OEM headlight w/ its paintjob..."feathering", over 36 hours of labor and what not. They even attempted to "re-condition" one of my 17 rims just to add another $175 into the bill. No frame damage. I then smiled, paid $200 for labor and "inspection" and quickly bounced out of that shop. I can do $300 axel job in oxnard for both left and right front wheels...the rest Ill do meself, thank you very much...
