what's the best shop manual out there

Hi,
Just wondering I have a diesel Jetta '91...
I bought a chiltons book... I have a bunch
for the other cars.... I must say.... they must
be trying to save on paper or something...
I don't think this is a good book....... I like
to see pictures...... pictures are good.....
Anyway, Can you good folks out there
make some suggestions about a decent
shop manual... It is a 91 jetta diesel...

Bentley, they come up on eBay fairly often....

Bentley?, like Bentley Manuals for
volkswagens?? I'll check ebay.

I have the Bently and Chiltons (I have a gas and a diesel 91). The best manual (it is expensive) is to get a service manual from VW. They put the microfilm version on CD in pdf format and it runs about $110. When it comes down to it, there isn't a better source.

This manual that you speak about... Is the only place to
get the manual the dealer? and what would I ask for...
could you give, TITLE of book and publisher stuff like that.
(like on the book).... I will go get it if it is worth it.....
