Installing new speakers
I am interested in installing new speakers in my Taurus myself. However, if the plug from the attachment harness does not fit in new speakers, what can I do? Can I get attach a new plug to them so it will fit in the speakers?

Re: Installing new speakers
generic aftermerket speakers do not have plugs, they just have terminals. You can just cut the factory harness plugs off, strip the wires, and attach them to the terminals.

Re: Installing new speakers
If you buy the speakers from somewhere like Cutchfield, they'll send you a harness so you don't have to cut the factory wiring. Makes it nice if you ever want to go back to stock.
