Biggest Injectors a 190 can support?

As the title states I want to know what the biggest size fuel injector I can run on a walbro 190. I'm getting a dsmLINK and Delphi 950cc fuel injectors to support my rs49 thats in my passenger seat . And I need to know what my walbro 190 can support or if I need to switch to a 255hp and a fpr? Thanks guys.

For a 50 trim you will need larger than a 190 pump, regardless of what injectors you run. Injectors and pump are completely independant of each other and each need to be able to support the airflow you intend to run. There is no question that a 190 can't do it at maximum airflow and "normal" AFR settings.

I thought the max, or best flow you would get from a 190 is from 650's. Maybe I am wrong but I am pretty sure that is correct.

hehe also, if you decide to upgrade to a 255, I have one for sale, brand new never used.

Re: Biggest Injectors a 190 can support?

A pumps flow depends entirely on voltage, pressure, and restriction (lines, filter, etc). Assuming the pump is rewired, and 99.9% of poeple use stock feed line parts, voltage and restriction can be held constant. Pressure really should just be set at what the ECU expects it to be, so that is pretty constant too. Injectors play no part in deterimining a pumps flow.

You might be able to say that anyhing over 650s would be overkill on a 190, since the pump wouldnt be able to keep up with them, but it wont hurt at all. With DSMlink, I always recomend going straight to 950s on the first upgrade.

Honestly, with a 16G 650's should be fine. 950's are overkill for my 50 trim, but I got them cheap and the dsmLink can support them and I have plenty of room to upgrade in the future. My injector duty cycle is going to be very low which is fine, but I could be running smaller injectors. To get back on topic I ordered a walbro 255 today and am going to set it up with the Burschur racing afpr. Thanks guys.

You could be running smaller injectors, but since there are NO advntages to smaller injectors and MANY advantages to larger injectors, and the prices are similar, there is no good reason to recomend going smaller. IMO.
