5.4 older to new intake gasket problem

Swapping a 99 5.4 motor w/ an 01 5.4. Intake ports different. Lower plenium on 99 has 2 wire plug 01 doesn't will that cause ses light to come on? All the bosses on the plastic intake of the 01 5.4 are the same but the lower doesn't hove plug in. Ports are bigger on the 01 can't use old style can't use new. has anyone done this swap yet.
