Rear Lamp Failure

I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd. Everytime I turn on my headlights the Vehicle Information Center says there is a rear lamp failure. None of my tail lights are out or anything. Any solutions?

Check you front Sidemarker bulbs, the front side amrkers will cause the REAR LAMP FAILURE message.
