Fiberglass clarification

I did some searching, and have looked around online, but have yet to really find a decisive answer to my question...I seem to be getting two answers, but don't know if one's better then the other: after I lay down the cloth to form my shape (I'm making some kick panel enclosures) do I need to put some fiberglass resin on top of the cloth to harden that before I go ahead and start laying fiberglass layers, or can I just lay resin and fiberglass on the cloth without giving the cloth an initial layer of resin, and letting that dry? Thanks in advance for any help

Re: Fiberglass clarification

You dont really layer it, you saturate the cloth with resin. Do all layers at once if you can.

Re: Fiberglass clarification

Ok...so after I cover the cloth with resin, I start laying fiberglass down before that begins to dry...thanks for your help.
