1990 Gl hesitation
Okay, when my Jetta is cold, it hesitates, and dies. When it is warmed up it is fine. I am thinking mass airflow sensor and/or temperature sensor? Are these items expensive, and could there be another culprit?
Thanks for the help! |

hesitation
So it does i too when it is warmed up, but only if you slam on the gas when it is at idle. Am I right in just inspecting and overhauling the intake and making sure all vacuum connections are hooked up, or could this be indicative of something bigger?

Re: 1990 Gl hesitation
Car doesn't have a MAF exactly, the correlate air flow meter is fairly relaible. I'd start with basics like tune-up items & filters.
