Cool First Intrepid

Had my 96 3.3 Intrepid 2 weeks now, love driving it. It practically set for 2 years with less then 2000 miles put on it in those 2 years. I don't know why it sat. Took it for inspection and it only needed headlights. Drives like a dream on this suspension. I'am doing a little tune up work, changed the plug wires already plugs look good. What plugs do you guys recommend as replacements? Also what tool do I need for changing belts? I always like carrying spare belts in my car.

Re: First Intrepid

Champion is the best spark plug for Mopar engines, nothing else will work effectively. You can go to your local auto part store and pick up a tool that will allow you to remove belts easily, especially those with automatic tensioners. It looks like a prybar w/ a 1/2" adapter that goes inside of most tensioners and gives you extra leverage to move those hard to budge tensioners. They cost around $20 and come in very handy. Also, carry around a wrench set to loosen the locknut and tensioner screw on some the tensioner pulleys.

You could also just use a Johnson bar that you probably already have with your socket set
