Alarm and Central Locking Issues, MK4 Golf

Hey, This is kind of long, but here I go!
I have a 99 Golf MK4 5 door, The locks on my car were closing by themselves while i was driving or when the passenger front door was opened. Sometimes the locks would try to close twice if i turned the key once. and other times it would close and then 1 would pop up again. The problem started a day after i got the car and the alarm stopped working, sometimes when i put my key in the ignition the doors would make a locking sound, nothing would happen but the interior lights would stay on while driving.
Today i got a new alarm and noticed the same problem is happening and when i tried to set the alarm off by blowing into the sensor and by opening the doors with the alarm on it would not work, just flashing lights, the locks are still acting up too, whats wrong with my car?

Hope you can give me the answer,
Al

Sounds like a bad door latch on the passenger side. open the door and see if the light on the door lights up, if it doesnt replace the latch
