camry v6 engine and tranny

so will the v6 camry tranny fit into a celica? if so is it possible to swap the engine as well? has anyone done this b4? if it doesnt work the 4cyl camry tranny will fit right.

yea thats what im sayin. how origional is a v6 celica. suer u gotta 3sgte but hey i gotta v6. i wish i couold afford to pay some pros. i could only afford it if i bought a junker v6 camry and it this swap is doable without alot of custom fabbing then i would rather do yhat than a 3sgte swap. imagine camry v6 + supercharger is like 250+hp. im buying a junker celica or camry for a manual tranny swap. but if this swap will work i can kill 2 birds with one stone and get a v6 cam.

shouldnt be all that hard, ull be the first person to do it if you do, it would actualyl be pretty badass, n i dont hink ud get much heavyer cuz the 5sfe is a heavy mother fucker

then again thers slim to no aftermarket support for that engine, so your limited on how much power you could put into it

what about the tranny? forget the engine. does it fit into the engine mounts same as 5sfe tranny? i will get a new 5spd tranny anyways. if it fits i can just get the v6 and have the tranny just the same as if i bought a 5sfe tranny and swap that, then if i can swap the engine in also i will do that later on down the road.

i just dont wanna buy a v6 cam and find out that the tranny wont work and be sol.
