If you did a swap, Help me !!
alright so i know what engine fits in my car and all that stuff but what i really want to know is that, if you put a JDM engine in your car. Like a Engine swap right... will I pass Emissions ??? Cuz i want to be able to keep this car. I have a 94 Toyota Tercel and i want to swap the engine to 4AGE 20 V which is a Toyota Make to ??? and also i have automatic transmission and 4AGE 20 V engines have 5 sp which i want to do..... but the question really is that Would i pass Emission and also what would i need to do if i have to change the car information. Like the report they give you when you go to emission. Like they know the car is suppose to be a automatic and with this engine and blah blah .. you know what i mean right ??? so someone please help me.... if you did a engine swap please read! and reply me ...

will you pass emissions with a japanese engine: probably not, it depends on the state
going from auto -> maunal you will need to install a clutch also, as well as use a different ECU, wiring harness... it's quite involved.
