Talking head swap...need help!!!!

what's a head swap? btw...what part of the engine is the head?where can i get it in cali? how much would it cost me? what is the engine type of my 3g prelude? b20? is that right? thanks!

cylinder head is the top part of the engine. if you recently blew your timing belt, i'm sure you'll be looking for one. i got a nice used head for $125 off the net, and now my lude runs mint. 3g comes with either the b20 (2.0) or the b21a1 (2.1), depending if you have the 2.0 si or the si.

b20 came in the 88-89 cars. the b21 came in 90-91.
you can do a vtec head swap from a b16...

find the how to on www.ludespeed.com

depending on what needs to be replaced, if you replace alllll the gaskets etc, that alone ran me 280 at the honda dealer... but it wont be leakin. the swap isnt hard to do, but if you arent comfy, have a shop do it. the money is worth it.

a used head isnt expensive, the labor is...
