Squeeling Noise?
I have a 98 ram v8 5.9 with 92000 on it . About three days ago it started squeeking when giving it gas. It squeeks whether it is in gear or not. It sounds like a belt possibly but I have been researching it and reading alot about torque converters. The tranny shifts beautifully. No problems with it. It squeaks when I give it gas but not at idle and then when the rpms get to a point it stops. It only does it after it has been running for a few minutes. Any thoughts?

Re: Squeeling Noise?
Also check the serpentine belt itself, if worn/glazed it will slip more easily.
