2001 Denali XL For Sale--what should I ask for it?

I have a very nice 2001 Denali XL for sale and I wanted your opinions on what to ask for it, and what to expect.

It was loaded (for that year) with captains chairs and is pewter with the neutral interior. I have an extended warranty on it too. It has about 58,500 miles and the tires are in fair condition.

Frankly I wish I would have sold it a year ago when I had an offer of $25K!!! Now it won't come even close to that because of the price of gas. It invoiced for $50,559 and I have added a K&N FIPK (air intake system w/filter). I would really like your input on this issue, please. And, if you have sold one, let me know at what price, and what part of the USA?

The oil has been changed every 3000 to 3500 miles after the first one at 1000 miles. All maintenance has been done and it has only 3 or 4 door dings that can be fixed for $40 each. It also has some scratches and a slight small dent on the far right of the rear bumper. Someone backed into it. It was kept in a garage until just recently. I will take offers, but I won't give it away. I might trade it for a low mileage 2005 Acura RSX, or a new 2006 Acura RSX, w/AT.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks!

JC

Depending on your area you can get a lot or a little. I would start @ 26,000 and come down as low as $24,000. Also you could tell someone that as of 2007 the bodystyle will be changing.

I would also check nadaguides.com and see what they suggest. They're a bit better then KBB.

I'd say you are going to be held in the $15,000. - 20,000. range. Yep, if you were offered $25K woulda, coulda, shoulda took it, no doubt. It will be much less now. In the Atlanta area, new ones are getting bumped 10-12K off list.
