EATC with a 95 Taurus GL?
Hello
I have a 1995 Taurus GL with a manual climate control, which of course is standard in my car. My friend have me his EATC from his 95 Taurus SHO, which I was really hoping I could put into my Taurus. Is this possible? So many things with the different versions of Taurus's are interchangeable, I was hoping this would be too. Any advice?

It wouldn't be a drop in replacement as I think you are hoping. The EATC uses a PWM blower motor speed controller rather than the resistor block of the manual HVAC controls. Also, the blend doors, etc. with the EATC are electrically controlled whereas the manual HVAC setup uses vacuum. You'd have to change out the controller, blower motor controller, and most of the actuators. Not a trivial task.
