hi there.. I am looking to lift my 1990 4runner to put on 35 inch tires... does anyone know how much lift I would need to fit tires that size?

Re: 1990 lift
I don't know the answer to your question, but it will depend on how much your springs have sagged with age. I believe that you need 3" of lift to clear those tires with new springs.

Re: 1990 lift
Most of the kits that I have seen are a standard 4 inch suspension lift, which is good enough for 33's. For 35's you might need a little body lift too. You could probably fit 35's with a 4 inch lift and a little trimming maybe. I saw a guy with baja style front fenders, 4 inch lift, cranked torsion bars and a different rear bumper..... 35's looked alright.
