Lincoln fuel system

I have a 94 Lincoln continental. It has 300,000 miles, but until about a month ago ran fine. That isn't to say I haven't had problems, but it was running. Its a good looking car and I am reluctant to push it over the hill. About a month or so ago, I used to get the computer message to check the dcl, I think. After a while it would quit. I was hit in the front left over a year ago and it may have been a result of that. In any case, now the car cranks and won't turn over. I thought it was out of gas, so my husband put gas in it and we pushed it to level ground, nothing. I have people ask me questions about fuses and what not, but I wondered if there was an emergency fuel shut off or something the computer could have done. I don't know where to start and we don't have any extra money to tow it to a mechanic or dealer. Any suggestions on what to look for?

The fuel shut-off switch is in the trunk, on the lefthand trunk support assembly. It's actually an inertia breaker designed to close the fuel lines in case of accident. If tripped, you can reset the breaker with the button on the switch.

Check all the fuses in car, and breakers under the hood.
The master "Fuel Pump" relay may have crapped out, it's in the "Power Distribution Box" under the hood.
Try Starting Fluid in the intake just prior to cranking it over.
