Headlight Assembley
DOse anyone kno how to install whole headlight unit for a 2000 Pontiac Gran Am. I managed to get the whole unites out but there one minor problem, there are these yellow cube like things that hold the long screw attached to the headlight in place and I can't get them out so i can put the new ones in.

 I need to learn myself... I was thinking about replacing the plastic covering of my headlights when I goto do new bulbs... mine are sun w/e foggy.. looks bad

same here
yeah me too I am looking for new projector style housings to replace the sorry excuse for headlights the grand ams come with. Mine are also full of condensation and they really provide poor lighting for speedy night driving. so if anyone knows of a good headlight housing to use please post a link or let us know

I took mine in a Machanic(paying $160 for instalation) but this is how u do it. 1st. Take off the covering that says "pontiac". They have those black push pins. just pull them out. 2nd u should see the screws and stuff for the light the "star shaped screw", it's long and thin. Use a socket wreanch if u don't have a star head shaped screw driver. These two for each light. Undo those and watch as the light cover comes out. 3rd. Know whenu got the whole light Assembly out in the area where the light goes look for a little mettle leave with like a lil whole in the middle. Pull that sonabitch up hard and it will release those little yellow cube things taht the long scew from the light case goes into.
