Clash of Crap!

On the way home from the State Fair, me and the other 4 members that make up my immediate family were on the road in our CR-V. My dad is driving and pulls up to a red light. I look to the right, and theres a young gentleman in the next lane in an older accord, giving our entire family a look of pure hatred, because our honda actually looked in good shape.

I tell my dad that this guy is about to race us, and he smiles back at me. The light goes GREEN and the accord peels out trying to get some traction. We immediately pull ahead and stay a car length ahead to 60, all the time im laughing hysterically. My mom starts yelling for us to slow down, and my dad does enough for the accord to break even with us. The guy is even more mad looking it seems, and floors it again. from 45-60 again we put him back to our bumper. As we slow to take the turn onto our street I give him a big thumbs up, cause he needed some encouragement after losing to a loaded down 4-cylinder semi-SUV

lol....sounds like what i did to a civic in my parents 2004 toyota sienna. the got the awd v6. just did the brake gas launch in auto and killed him when it sounded like they were bouncing off their rev limiter.

haha, nice kill I guess. Back when I had my 90 Accord I used to race EVERYTHING...and generally ended up with the same results, but I guess that was to be expected with a 1/4 in teh mid 17s

i wish my dad was that cool..... he has a 04 vette and never has any fun with it and he also has a tahoe with a chip, new headers, and new exhaust (hauls ass beleive it or not) and never goes over the speed limit hes so lame.

christ dude, accords are slow its no surprise.

my friend has an older accord... we raced this 3g eclipse one time just jokin around it was pretty funny because when we pulled up to him afterwards we were all laughing our asses off. he looked at us and lost it too.

Yes you guessed it Rice(er), here's what "really" happened.

Instead of coming from the state fair, our entire family, even my 8yr old sister, had just come back from an illegal street race spot at 7 pm. We have been building our CR-V sleeper for the past several years, and it was finally time to bring it to da homies. Our first race was against M4D TYT3 VTECH!@!@!@ All 5 of us got in for traction reasons, and we were able to get teh win.

The Head Street Racer, Vince Spilner watched us do this, and came over when we got done. "Is that your CR-V?" he asked in admiration
My mom replied "We are standing by it aren't we?"

Then Bam! Teh Fuzz! My family scrambled outta there, and made it on to the main road when this crazy tricked out accord saw us. My dad got this evil expression on his face, and revved the v-24 motor with nawwzz and and a turbosupercharger. The kid in the accord replied with a vreee! We knew it was time. My dad torque-braked it to 11k and let it fly! Instantly we had the lead, and as the crushing effects of all that HP began to make the sky grow black, I thought DAMN! THAT SHITTY ACCORD MUST NOT HAVE BEEN TRYING!

you assume everyone who looks at your family wanted to race your cr-v?? did the accord even had a fart can on? or was it a stock looking accord? ever heard of the v6 accord? depending on how "older accord" it was, the 94+ accords came with v6 options, my friend has an "older accord" with mods and runs right behind the bumper of his brother's gsr swapped hatch civic which did low 14s all motor

you race every kid who looks at your cr-v? its stock looking and didn't rev at you first and you still insist it still wants to race you? it was probably your dad who "peels out trying to get some traction" because kid you not, most people who race at the stop lights and dump their clutch(or brake in your case) cant tell if it's their car that squeeled tire or the other car, what happened to what bulldog said about "racing with honor" ??

for racing everyone who looked at me funny, i'd be a millionair by now, i think we all would be, lots of people inch forward because they see the other lights turned yellow and ready their car when their side of lights go green, dont know where you're from, but people around here do it all the time, ask bulldog about racing with honor, he can teach you a thing or two
