keyless remote programming
I purchased 2 new remotes for my 2001 grand am se and i have no idea how to program them. Please help.

I hope the link displays correctly; this is the first time I am attempting to "copy/paste" a link. If the link displays, there are instructions on how to program them on that link. By chance if the link does not work, use the "search" for programming remotes. Tommy

Theres a very easy way to program a remote it simply to hold down the lock + unlock button at same time for 12 seconds at this time the horn should go off and it should be programmed. Give this a try several times anywhere between 10 and 15 seconds and if nothing happens i couldnt tell ya.

The programming for the 01 only works for a few early 2001 models. The later 2001 need to be dealer programmed.
