Unhappy my skyline! ruined?

I've had my skyline in its box for about 2 weeks now(i have exams comming up).some parts painted and the spoiler on the body ready to be painted.Yesterday I got off early from school so i decided to see what I could do with it but when I opened the box I find the left side of the roof crushed and a huge crack from the middle left 3/4 ways across the roof!!! what can I do???

remake the broken place with putty and supper glue

Yeah, I know! Its crazy.:licker: The second thing crossing my mind is replacement parts. Contact Tamiya and ask for a replacement. The crack sounds really big and bad. You may have to pay depending on your location. From experience with Tamiya Canada, they are really getting stingy even if you really are telling the truth about what you need.

I'm sorry for what happened to your GT-R. If you can post pictures of the outside and inside of the body shell, I think I can give you more precise advice.

Bad luck about the car.
Try heating it with a hair dryer to get some shape back into the crushed side.
As for the split...you will need to "groove" it out first on both sides. Superglue it back together and leave for a while.
When really dry, you can then putty it up then sand.

Making a convertable sounds like a good idea but im not really that skilled.I think i'll try to fix it instead - or it will become the start of a new " to do" pile.
