Central Locking Troubleshooting

Been here before but here is an update. 1990 325ic and I cannot unlock the passenger door. I cn unlock the trunk and I can lock the drivers door with interior lock button and I can unlock with a key but cannot lock with key. I have had the CLCU module out and it looks good, I have had the drivers door lock motor out and it looks good, I have had lock cylinder out and it moves freely, not gunk and spring tension good. I suspect an electrical component has me double locked on passenger side but I have no information on checking out the CLCU or the door solenoid. Also, with door solenoid disconnected should I not be able to lock the door using my fingers on the fork like device on door lock (not key lock). Oh, all fuses are good so this is very frustrating and I do not wish, as yet, to go to indy tech.
