GSX vs. 2.3CL

I was driving home last night on 290 going about 75 when a I see a pair of lights growing quickly in my rearview. A white Acura 2.3CL flys past me on the right and then quickly brakes. I let off the gas and pass him while he's braking. As I expected he started coming up on my right side again, but this time I mashed the gas in 5th as he was about to pass me. I don't know the stats of a 2.3CL but I figured it was an unbalanced race which is why I left it in 5th.

By the time the turbo spooled he was about a half car length ahead but I was slowly reeling him in. At this point I considered it a win but I didn't want him going home and telling all his friends he stayed even with a GSX so I dropped it into 4th and flew by. Not very exciting but it's been a while since I've raced and the first race with the new turbo.

Sometimes you just gotta take what you can get you know? I got a few blow-offs from a WRX but the traffic was really heavy when I was on my way out to Holy Cross. Oh well.

Cali to Boston is a bit of a hike. That's a nice looking 1g in the sig. What have you done to it?

2.3 is definitely wrong. My bust. I think it was 2.2.

Underestimate Me: Nice setup on the 1g. I'll bet it's pretty quick. I keep telling myself I should stop dumping $ into my car but it's too addictive. I find with my DSM that the parts break and then it is so very easy to convince myself just to go with the "upgraded one." Hence the 16g, intake, bov..... the list goes on.
