Tire Sensor Monitor/ 04 Tahoe

I just put new 22" rims with 305/40/22 tires on my tahoe and now my "Tire Sensor Monitor" message is coming up. Do I give the trucks computer time to reset itself because of the new tire size or should I get it serviced? Thanks for helping!!!!

Re: Tire Sensor Monitor/ 04 Tahoe

I believe there's even a button to reset it. At least there was on my dad's '01 Aurora

Re: Tire Sensor Monitor/ 04 Tahoe

there were sensors in the old wheeels that the computer in the truck reads and should have been installed in the new wheels and also the sensors need to be learned to the position that they are mounted in.
