which obd to buy

hey guys, learned alot thru here
I want to buy one of those OBD code readers
2001 intrigue 101K funning fine, but today the engine light went on
I see a bunch of OBD 11 readers on Ebay
anybody recommend one, for a guy who knows how to open the hood and stare.. thanks

You want a OBDII reader if you car is 1997 or new. Autozone and Advanced Autoparts both have good ones. I paid around $300 for mine.
