'87 Hatch lock / latch

My '87 hatch latches, but just barely. If you pull up on it hard it will pop open. I have adjusted it a number of times.

I have had the car since new, but damn if I can remember....didn't the striker for the hatch lock have a nylon? sleeve over it..if so, mine is gone.
If that is what I need to make the thing lock tight, no prob.....plenty of boneyards around here. If not...any suggestions??

Thanks

Yep,

You can pick them up on ebay, or any of the mustang part stores. Mine had the same problem.
