Fuel pump running continuously.
I have a 93 3.0L with a constant running fuel pump with the key in the run position and engine off. I have just started hearing it and was wondering if this was normal as opposed to other makes that shut off when the fuel system is pressurized.

Re: Fuel pump running continuously.
The pump should shut off when the system is pressurized. You could have a problem with the fuel pressure regulator or the fuel pump relay being stuck. Both will cause this issue.
