Now a mechanic thinks that my EGR valve is stuck open. Where is this located at on a 2003 Malibu 3.1? Is this something I could replace myself following a manual?

What is wrong with your vehicle? What are the symptoms?

oops.....running rough, hesitates when pressing on gas and somewhat makes a "tapping" noise when idling....
