Re: Crashed.. Need parts

Yes iv had my celica for 3 weeks... and already its torn up but its not 100 percent my fault.
Half of it was me being stupid and the other half was a stupid woman trying to teach me a lesson i guess...
Basically my friend wanted me to burn out... so i pulled out of the parking lot and spun and the lady in front of my purpously slammed on her brakes... so that i would hit her..
Luckily nothing internal was damaged... i just caught her trailor hitch on the hood and headlight.

Feel free to say it... Im a DumbA** haha i know and iv definetly learned my lesson.

ONE quick question also...
Is it possible to paint carbon fiber.. there is a hood i REALLY like but i want it to match my car.
Thanks for your help

Re: Crashed.. Need parts

yea u can paint cf. but it kind a matches universally i guess. what hood are you talking about? there is some nice hoods on ebay like the carlos sainz in cf, regular alltrac in cf, plain cf, and they had some normal hoods last time i checked.

Re: Crashed.. Need parts

Im debating on the carlos sanz.. and the plain jane carbon fiber for 250. Im going for cheap.. im even painting all the parts by myself.
If i do a good job on the fenders and hood ill probably just do the whole car eventually. so everything is the same color..

Do you know of any site that explains how to paint a carbon fiber hood? I know its not as simple as other job where you just strip it and paint it is it?

Id imagine just wet sand it with a heavy grit then take a fine grit and dry sand.. clean it off and paint it in my booth?
