1993 240sx

I am about to buy a 1992 240sx(if the loan works out). The motor has 132,000 miles. I had a few question on what I should do after I buy.

Should I:

- rebuilt the KA24 then turbo
- SR swap \
how hard is the install...pedels are on a different side
- CA swap /

I've heard the KA has trouble with b00st is that true? Heard it in an issue of super street > dont want to spend too much 3-$4,000.

I want an LSD...any1 know where i can get1?

check these out:

you can't link pics directly from your desktop. upload them here and then link to them www.automotiveforums.com/upload/

It's your opinion on what you should do because you will just get mixed answers if you ask for what to do. for the SR swap though, if you know what you are doing, have good knowledge about cars, and have worked on an engine before then you can most likely perform this swap on your own. If you don't know what your doing then do not even attempt to do it. Also when you swap in the SR your still going to drive on the left side so I don't know what you mean by pedals on the different side. No the KA doesn't have trouble with boost, the KA likes boost , but not to much. Just make sure that you build up your bottom end before boosting the hell out of it. Some 240 SX's came with a Vicsious (sp?) Limited slip differential already. If your doesn't come with an LSD then you could either buy an aftermarket one from companies like Cusco or Kaaz or you could go to the junkyard and grab one off a 240SX. If you take one from a wrecked 240 then be sure to get the driveshaft as well because it's about an inch shorter.
