98 sunfire stereo problem!
I installed a brand new deck in my gf's car and new rear speakers and now whenever the you turn the volume up and it hits a high bass the stereo shuts off and turns back on....i was guessing it might be the battery but someone told me it might have something to do with the anti-theft system that would do that...if anyone knows what to do to fix the problem it would be great because its driving me crazy

Quote:
could b e 3 reasons one ur deck is connected to a power wire that is not suplying enough amps to the deck two) ur ground wire is not tight or 3 the deck is mafuctioning but i bet any of the first 2 can be if u dont want any hassle run a wire from the deck straight to the battery' that will ensure power to the deck and make sure ground is tight to a non rusted or painted metal surface good luck and let me know if still giving troubles |

Re: 98 sunfire stereo problem!
it could also be that the load of your speakers isnt matched to your head unit.. check your ohms!
