Does anyone know if Honda still makes cars with internal interference engine (meaning the valves will touch the pistons when timing belt breaks)? Because I know the 4th gen Civic/CRX are.

Still? I think Honda pioneered the interference engine.
Interference engines are more efficient so non-interference engines are a rarity these days. And why are you waiting till the timing belt breaks? Change it once every 60k and you won't have to worry about such things. GL |

60k? ha, mine went 204K. Timing belt was still good, blew a piston ring.

i had 180K on my civic and never changed the timing belt.
