beginner

I have some friends who have 50's and was thinking about buying a used one from someone. My friends tell me that if i get a fifty, i may need to add some things to it (like big-boy handle bars and a rear shock absorber). anyway, i was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on:

1) what type of bike i should get
and
2) where should i get it

The Honda XR and CRF 50 are pretty neat. Plenty of big boy mods out there for them.

I saw on a bunch of them up on Ebay.

Re: beginner

There is also a HUGE market in honda clones... They use Honda plans and are interchangeable for the most part..

they are quite a bit cheaper (about 1/2 price).... but it shows in the quality....
