Clicking brakes?
on my 97 4R i notice that if i hit a bump in the road, or a dip, or anything that kinda causes a sudden jerk in the car and then i hit the brakes, the brakes make a loud clicking noise that i can feel, and then procede to not work very well. If i let off the brakes and reapply it's fine. This only happens when there's a vertical jerking sensation of the car. Any ideas?

Hmm..... didnt think about that. I've never driven a car for any extended period of time that had anti-lock brakes. I used to be able to slide my civic all over the place!

Re: Clicking brakes?
Personally, I think the 4Runner antilocks activate a little too easily.
