Toolbox shopping

I am looking to find one of those bed type boxes that fits flush with the bed sides when closed. The chest type that doesn't come over the sides.

Anyone know where to get one cheap? For a 99Z71 SCSB

Re: Toolbox shopping

I could tell you the cheapest places I've ever seen, but I doubt you'll want to drive to get it. MSI Agri-Supply in Tifton, Ga has the best prices on UWS boxes around. I got my lo-profile box for $175.

Tractor Supply also seems to have a half decent price on some boxes, although their not UWS, which is the best IMO.

Re: Toolbox shopping

mine is also UWS, but my pneumatic springs don't automatically push it up, tho they will hold it up once you get there.

Re: Toolbox shopping

Yeah, mine's the same way. Most UWS boxes i've seen do that.

Yeah I did, but they wanted like $22 each for them. So, I walked my ass right back out and got in my truck.

Re: Toolbox shopping

If you want one that will last for the long haul, get a Weatherguard. Yeah, they're a couple hundred more, but mine's about 5 years old and has never leaked a drop and when you press the button to open it, it opens. The lifts aren't just to hold the lid open.

I got mine from Tractor Supply Co. and i believe mine was a dezee brand or something like that because i got dezee stickers and a keychain inside of the box. Ive had mine almost 3.5 years no leaks, and my lifts pop the lid open with out pulling up on it. Im pretty sure mine was some where around $130 i think.
