if you want a manual trans buy a car with one.
depending on year of car e36 or e46 you will run into CAN bus issues if the auto is removed your ecm will have to be changed since it cannot be told it now has a manual trans this is more difficult withthe newer the car. i would leave it as and auto and buyone with a stick.
