240k miles. depends on what the compression and leakdown has to say.

Re: 95 civic ex turbo...

well i think 7psi is too much but i put a turbo on my 93 civic ex with 200,000 on it and i now have 215,000 miles on it and have had no problem @ 5psi using a fmu 12:1 and the timing retarded 2 degrees. just be sure to run enough fuel and not to far advanced, and use RESTORE with every oil change.

Re: 95 civic ex turbo...

lbs is all relative to what size turbo your running.

but since you have such a high milage motor do a compression check. ideal compression is in the 180 range across the board. all cylinders should have numbers close together.

the leak down test will check your valves. but you'll probably want to tear the head apart and replace all gaskets and seals, do some valve lashing or have them done by a machinist(better) and have it acid washed.

Re: 95 civic ex turbo...

with that many miles you're probably going to need to do some work to get that thing to hold together!
