Question Tick Tick from the engine head?!!

Ive got a stock R33 GTS-T (RB25DET) ,

almost every time i start the car, its got this tick tick noise thats constant, it shellows down after a while but its still there..? I haven't taken it in to get it checked but saw that there was similar issues..?

Has anyone resolved this problem? just needs some indicators be4 i get ripped off.

Also on that note, when i rev my car on exactly 1.5rpm, the engine has a distorted sound, but only at those revs, then it gets drowned by the exahaust ... i think it might be the lifters but im not sure ..???

To all the skyline guru's , this is your moment to shine! plz..

Hi mate

All it is, is your lifters and this is usually caused by using oil that is either to thick or old,
It is also a normal sound for cars of this age.

After how many Km's do you change the oil?
And what oil do you use?
