Unhappy How to replace heater core for 1988 Ranger

Hi! Please somebody help! We need step by step instructions for replacing the heater core in our 1988 Ford Ranger!! Can't afford to take it to a shop.....was told that in the 88 models you have to take the whole dash out instead of just going through the glove box? Really appreciate it if someone can tell us how to do this job!! Thanks!!!!! Sincerely, Twinkie
