1993 FZR600 tuned - 135-140 with girlfriend on back shouting "GO FASTER"
1993 FZR600 tuned - 90 passing 2 sherrifs and 1 highway patrol at 12:30 am - shortly thereafter to 135 (no ticket by the way)
1993 FZR600 155-160 on I-10 (Florida) being late for work and making it there in record time
Mitsubishi 3000 155-160 with drunk owner in passenger seat on I-10 at 2:15am (right afterr bar closed) muttering "I didn't think it would go this fast - I think I am going to vomit"
110 in 4th in the 91 accord with H23a (that's why I am on this forum) I just bought (to keep the guy from going to jail for non-payment of child support) when testing and around 6000 RPM and pulling like crazy - that's why I bought it ($1500) - ran out of road then - I can get 90 on any on-ramp here (without trying hard) this is all in MPH - I think turbo would help a little [ ;-) ] but I am working on the music now since it came with none...and I can't deal with that....
Think I may try 5th tomorrow on the interstate to see what it can do...hmmmm

actually better than most on the road - especially the idiots that ride the 2-wheelers without helmets, but that is a different story, i only started this thread again cuz it went 5 pages before getting shut down and i like hearing the high speed stories. Anyone that likes modding their ride to run over 120 that says they don't run it on the street faster than the speed limit is full of crap. A good thread may be - Where is a good racing school in my area? - good racing schools teach moderation on the streat and good defensive driving all the time. Sorry if I offended you...but I bet I can run safer than you doing 90 on any interstate you pick than you can in the middle of nowhere... with or without traffic.....there is no replacement for professional training and practice.....

People like you who think they drive better than everyone else are the biggest hazards on the road. Good racing schools don't teach moderation on the street - they teach abstinence from street racing. No, you can't run safer than me at 90 mph anywhere. You need a serious reality check if you think your so-called abilities make you better than most people on the road. Everyone who's ever wrapped their car around a tree or driven off a cliff or killed a family out on a road trip thought the same way you do. Really, all of us on this board are professionally trained and have tons of experience on professional circuits, so keep dreaming.

Maybe if you made a legible post, and had a little more respect for the other people on this board (you ain't the best, not even close), you might not come across as such a poser.

I don't care how good of a driver you are, the faster you're going, the last time you have to react to something happening; a car jamming on their brakes, something running out into the road. And I can gaurantee you that 95% of people don't take their car over 120. You wanna race, go to the track, and maybe spare a few lives.

Seriously, very few things you do on the street really prepares you for Autocrosses, and even less for complete race courses -- it's an entirely different experience in my opinion. Even drag strips are different. The feel of the pavement and the angle of the turns, as well as entry speed is completely different, you truly "feel" understeer on a race course as a hinderence despite the fact that you might be able to take that interstate ramp next to your house at 60mph.

And you die -- which is okay, in my opinion for those who choose to be reckless, but the problem here is they like to take innocents with them..
