so whats better off road. manual or auto

i went to the hummer dealership a few months ago and they didnt have yellow in a manual. They didnt have one at all. So the salesman tells me that autos are the best thing off road. Ive not been mudding to many times but im sure climing a log with a manual would be realy tuff yet im tired of autos and want a manual. what do you all think. Oh and have you all seen any H3's out there on the trails.

Been discussed a few times. Both have their pros and cons.

I would consider where I will be putting the MOST miles on. And deal with it otherwise. Me, I'd go Auto. In 4wd Low, auto is pretty good anyways. I'm on the road 99% of the time.
